Longtime collaborators Please and Saint Icky join forces once again on Green New Deal, dropping June 3rd on the former's indie label, ISSA Party, and in collaboration with Badluck records. The four-track EP is an effortless collection of rap/club crossover cuts, with some of the most intricate production by Please to date, and Saint Ick providing layers of definition and focus to such an ambiguous beat selection. After several one-off singles over the years, it is clear that the duo is executing a sound with peak chemistry.

Although Saint Icky & Please are from two opposing sides of music, both are long-standing pillars in Chicago's rich DIY community, with Ick founding the multimedia platform, BadLuck Records, in 2018 and Please gradually reinventing the city's club sound with his ISSA Party label since 2019. Green New Deal is the first ISSA Party release since local rapper/producer, Khalfani, dropped off his jarring instrumental LP, Arkhive, earlier this year. The duo's new EP will release exclusively through the indie label's Bandcamp.
